Orkney Tea from the Orkney Roastery

Here at The Orkney Roastery, we love our coffee but sometimes we just want a great cup of tea. Having struggled to find the perfect loose tea for our own use we decided to develop our own range of blends based on highly graded estate teas.

Yoyo by Bodum the perfect solution for the perfect brew

Just as real coffee is not comparable to instant, real tea is a completely different drink to tea bag tea (no plastic waste either)

Tea grading is a complicated process, but we have found that good old Wikipedia explains it pretty well.

The teas that we have selected were chosen from a wide range of highly graded leaves from the main tea producing areas of the world. We were looking for teas of character that could be blended to create nuanced brews that truly reflect the tea grower and producers’ art.
